We had the pleasure to capture some of our closest friend’s wedding the end of June, at the beautiful Walden Woods in Howell, where Matt and I said our “I-do’s” almost 3 years ago! I had never seen Brett and Emily so incredibly in love than on that day. The thing that really stood out from their wedding was the raw emotion, and love they have for each other, their families, and for the Lord. Everyone who witnessed their marriage was touched, and we could not have asked for a nicer day…despite the forecast, the “SON” was surely shining on them, and the weather was gorgeous over Walden Woods!

This is by far my longest blog post {bare with me} There were just so many details and moments to be captured – and so much love! Brett and I colaborated at the proposal, and captured video to give his bride the day of the wedding, their first looks with their parents, Em’s breath-taking gown, and their prayer together before the ceremony – without seeing each-other! All the special details, the toasts (epic Jake!) and the sister’s poem, a beautiful tear-jerking slideshow, a S’more’s station outside, the take home coffee bar, ONE OF A KIND cakes by Brett’s mom (Geri Yost) & sister, a beautiful family coming together, and the union of Brett and Emily becoming one…

annd the night just may have ended with Em shakin’ it and doing the worm on the dance floor, yes, this really happened!
