Meet John + Nicole.

After planning their wedding a little shy of 2 years, and being together nearly a decade, this day was long anticipated for friends and family of John and Nicole.

From getting ready details, dressing to play the part of bride and groom for the day just minutes before their first look at the Westin Hotel of Southfield, to the moment Nicole and her dad walked down the aisle at the Sweetest Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Detroit, it was the perfect setting for a gorgeous Detroit wedding.

*BONUS* There may or may not have been fruity pebble donuts that I did more than a double take at, while the girls wrapped up their hair and makeup.

The rain held off, and the perfect glimpse of sunlight peered through during their first look.

Not only that, but during their ceremony – the rain poured on the roof, and the sound inside the exquisite chapel of Sweetest Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Southfield gave the perfect amount of dreamy that permeated throughout the mass. As a vintage family car drove them away, and to their ceremony at Plum Hallow Country Club in Southfield, I had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming.

Nicole and John were serenaded by a vocal duet that her grandfather and cousin sang and surprised them with, that lead them into their first dance as Husband and wife. The kickoff to a great, long awaited, celebration, as they danced the night away at their wedding reception at Plum Hollow Country Club of Southfield.
