So, as many of you know- I have been photographing weddings for about 3 years now, always dreaming of the day it would be me. Well, finally I am the Bride!! Not only the Bride, but that Bride that God desires and calls us to be. And of course, with Him in the center of our relationship, and soon to be marriage. It is amazing to see the Lord’s hand through it all though. I met the love of my life at a young age (yes, I think 12 is a young age to meet your life partner) and at that age you are still finding yourself… heck, I am STILL finding myself! But I have had the privilege to watch my fiancee grow into an amazing man of God, and me grow into a woman (wife) of noble character (Proverb31)

As this time approaches rather quickly now (6.5 months away!!!) People are asking, “How are YOU going to find your wedding photographer…. are YOU going to photograph your OWN wedding??!?” Well, no! haha sorry to disappoint, but I am not so sure my dress would fit if I turned into inspector gadget 😉 It was a tough process, but I am 100% confident in the wedding photographer we chose. we aren’t seeing each other before, so it may be hard to capture the shot below, when he sees his bride for the first time, but at weddings I shoot, I always make it a point to capture the look on the grooms face when he sees his bride for the first time. There is nothing more beautiful that his expression…. makes me tear up every time! And to think, that’s how Christ looks at us daily- as His beautiful bride..
