I’m not quite sure where to begin with this couple… So I will start with the 2nd grade when Ashley became my best friend after maliciously giving me a paper-cut in my eyeball, and having to spend the afternoon with our moms in the ER. (I say malicious, but in 2nd grade, a mosquito bite is malicious…) In between late night phone calls to boys, truth or dare, and obsessing over Nsync or BSB, Ashley was introduced to the Lord by a friend. She later invited me to the church where I gave my heart to the Lord, broke through my religious mindset, and met my future husband in the 7th grade 😉 I guess it was worth all that for a brutal eyeball papercut 😉 Since then we have been the best of friends, and my life was never the same…

Fast forward 16 years, to when Josh comes into the picture… Ashley was the maid of honor at my wedding almost 2 years ago! We’ve seen each-other at our worst, and our best. Years ago, I remember praying with her for her future Husband, and the Lord is not slow in keeping His promise. Josh is, well, goofy- and wonderful all at the same time. Which, if you know Ashley, is absolutely perfect. Josh and I had so much fun planning this engagement session… well… you will see why in a few frames. Special thanks to my hubby MATTHEW for being a super trooper and dressing up in a old musty sweaty costume..
