Winter Detroit Wedding | Michigan Wedding Photographer

From the moment I met Stephanie and Ryan for their engagement session at a small coffee shop in Ann Arbor and Stephanie and I showed up in matching scarves, I knew it was fate! 😉

Their romantic winter wedding at The Iroquois Club in Bloomfield Hills was the perfect touch of Christmas + class.  This was a December wedding, and the perfect way to close out the year. There was such a genuine joy surrounding the day, and the winter decorations that covered the inside of The Iroquois Club made this wedding so charming and romantic. All in all, The Iroquois Club Wedding in Bloomfield Hills with Ryan and Stephanie was absolutely beautiful.

But the sweetest part were the intimate details, and the cloud 9 feelings that resonated throughout the day. Starting with Stephanie’s moms pearl necklace that she’s had since she was a little girl, and gave to Stephanie to wear moments before she walked down the aisle. Each pearl representing a special birthday, event, or even one her parents gave her on her wedding day making up a gorgeous strand of pearls to perfectly compliment Stephanie’s breathtaking dress. Then followed their hand written vows, (including promises to always binge Netflix on rainy days – hollla!), tears of joy, frigid outdoor temperatures, and smiles that never left their faces. (though frost-bite was a legit concern during their winter wedding in Michigan!), and of course, a Hot Cocoa bar to take the chill off.

Ryan and Stephanie-  thank you for warning me when snowbanks were about to trip me, not making fun of my granny grooves on the party bus + for never once complaining about the -10 degree temps but always trusting me to pull the magic from what was always on the inside of you both. Nothing but happiness + all the Netflix binging this world has to offer your happily ever after…. Congrats!
