To celebrate their FIRST YEAR as Mr. & Mrs, Christina & Ariel wanted to celebrate it where their hearts and ministry have been since they can remember, in Detroit Michigan. The Joe Louis Arena of Detroit offers a little piece of home to them , and in turn, was a perfect place to inspire this, “Farewell to the Joe, and to their first year of marriage,” session.

With hearts of gold, and laughter that inspires me to capture and create what my clients hire me for, these two have never let me down. From their engagement session, to their Gorgeous Downtown Detroit wedding at the Fox Theater last July, Ariel and Christina continue to amaze me with their genuine love for one another. The comfort and ease of capturing their journey, has made my heart explode more times than I can count!  This anniversary surprise from Arial, was such a sweet surprise, and a great way to document the journey that the first year has brought them through as a couple, in the city they now call home, Detroit, Michigan.
