A couple weeks ago when Emily and Zac were over, I asked them what they were most excited about for when Kayleigh came… “I just can’t wait to rub her little nose, and give her kisses” Zac said… “I can’t wait to see what she’ll look like” Em said.

Well, Emily, she is beautiful, and Zac, your little girl gives the best butterfly kisses, as you can testify to! It has been amazing watching them grown into parenthood the past week. While Matt and I love snuggling with miss Kayleigh, it was hard for me to put her down for a minute to capture this special time for them through the lens. Matt was SUCH a help, Emily had been really sore and tired the past couple days, and still sick, so matt was more than eager to take on her role as mommy, as we posed her, and froze these moments in time. We had a bit of an audience as Em’s mom, and 2 other of our friends came with us to visit, so maybe Matt was just feeling the pressure. 😀 This was the first time I went on location for a newborn session (at Em’s Mom’s house) and I’d say it was a success!

At only 6 days old, Kayleigh is happy, healthy, and very easy to bribe in front of the camera. All she needed was her binky, and soft pink blankie, and instantly, she would be back to dream land. I’m sure mommy and daddy wish it was always this easy.

Again, she wore some of the hats I made, in my new hobby to make newborn hats & headbands for my clients. She was my first model, and first diaper I changed.. I’m starting to sense a pattern here!

We love you so much already Kayleigh Ann! It’s amazing how one tiny little girl, can have so many big people wrapped around their fingers… sweet dreams little one.
